Egypt day 3

Today we took more notes on Egypt from a power point. I actually liked the power point because it had short sentences and it had cool pictures. So here are the notes that we took on it:

Egypt = geography, daily life, pharaohs, gods and goddesses and pyramids
Water in Nile = drinking, irrigating, bathing, and transportation
July = flood; October = good soil
irrigation = technical break through.
Pyramids = Great Sphinx of Giza "protected it" - built in 2555-2532 B.C.
Daily Life = 1) Pharaoh, Government officials, Soldiers, Scribes, Merchants, Artisans, Farmers, Slaves
Upper Class = "white kilt class" priests, physicians, engineer
Pharaoh - "Lord of 2 lands" and "High Priest of Every Temple"; owned land and collected taxes and defended Egypt.
God and Goddess = over 2,000
RA - god of sun
